State Rep. Tim Ginter stopped by the October 2017 meeting of the Columbiana County Port Authority to present an award for administration of the Drug-Free Workforce Community Initiative. The Initiative was a public-private partnership between the Ohio Dept. of Mental Health and Addiction Services and Working Partners to help businesses draft drug-free workplace policies. The $20,000 grant was awarded to the county’s Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, which asked the Port Authority to develop and administer the program. Columbiana County was No. 1 in the state for the work that was accomplished.
Rep. Ginter is shown presenting a Resolution from Gov. Kasich and a Commendation on behalf of The General Assembly of The State of Ohio House of Representatives to Penny Traina, CEO of the Port Authority and Marcy Patton, MHRSB’s Executive Director.
