Leetonia - Cherry Fork Industrial Facility

Leetonia – World Trade Park

In 1995, the Columbiana County Port Authority acquired the land for the World Trade Park near State Route 344, west of the Village of Leetonia. Since then, the park has experienced significant growth, with expansions by Pennex Aluminum and Haltec Corporation. Pennex Aluminum expanded by 175,000 square feet and $61 million in 2015 and 2018, creating 115 jobs. In 2019, Haltec Corporation began a 59,000 square foot expansion, bringing their total to 88,000 square feet and over 150 employees at the World Trade Park. In 2024, the Columbiana County Port Authority plans to build a 60,000 square foot speculative building to meet the demand for modern manufacturing space in Northeast Ohio, leaving approximately 30 acres of undeveloped land. Currently, CCPA owns approximately 42 acres of shovel ready land with utility access on the road.
